The Youth Judo Club is a non-profit youth judo club that teaches the traditional art of Kodokan Judo. This classical Japanese martial art is also described as Olympic Judo because of its popularity as a world sport. Classes are offered to youth ages 5-17 years old at low to no cost. Maximum monthly tuition for one student is $40/month. The club pays for all association memberships and promotional costs. There are no contracts, and the club strives to never turn away a student because of their ability to pay or physically participate due to a disability.
The Riverside Youth Judo Club offers instruction to all youth and welcomes at-risk and special needs students. The club has a dedicated staff of instructors, and therapists, who volunteer their time each class. All instructors are certified USA Judo Black Belts. A special emphasis is made to help each student become an outstanding member of society.
